Chenghan Li

Graduate Student
Department of Chemistry
University of Chicago

Chenghan received a B.S. in chemical physics from the University of Science and Technology of China(USTC) in 2016. At USTC, he worked with Prof. Ruixue Xu and Prof. Yijing Yan on the dynamics of open quantum systems using hierarchy equations of motion(HEOM). In the summer of 2015, he studied the effect of molecular solvent on the collapse transition of polymers using coarse-grained molecular dynamics in Prof. Arun Yethiraj’s group at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

He enrolled in the doctoral program at the University of Chicago and joined the Voth group in the fall of 2016. He is now working on the development of coarse-graining theory and methods.
