Peng received a B.A. degree in Chemistry from Nankai University in 2011. In the same year, he joined Dr. Ronald M. Levy group at Rutgers University, New Brunswick and moved to Temple University with the group at 2014. During this period, he works on predicting small molecule inhibitors binding affinity to protein drug targets, and method development and simulation prediction of conformational free energies of kinases. He received his Ph.D. degree in Computational Chemistry from Temple University in Dec 2018 and joined the Voth group in Feb 2019. His current research interest is the Mesoscopic Coarse-Grained molecular simulation of Protein Megamolecules.
